India’s Sai Praneeth lost in the first round of the Men’s singles in the Indonesia Masters. The Indian lost to Chen Long of China in straight games with the score reading 12-21, 16-21. The game was total one-sided affair and the Indian lost it in 40 minutes. Chen Long is current Olympic gold winner.
Earlier Women’s doubles pair of Ashwini Ponappa and Sikki Reddy also went down to their Thailand counterparts in straight games. Score: 14-21, 14-21.
