India U-16 team entered the Quarterfinals of Asia Cup which is being held in Malaysia. India held strong contenders Indonesia for goalless draw thereby making it to the Quarters. Even though Indonesia dominated the game with the most number of attacks, India did create some memorable moments in the game. The keenly contested game saw the crowd supporting the Indonesian side. During the dying moments of the game, India held their nerves and took a valuable one point from the game.
India finished second in the group with 5 points from 3 matches whereas Indonesia tops the group. India will play the winners of the Group D consisting of South Korea, Iraq, Australia.
