Youth Olmpics: India goes down fighting to Australia

India went down fighting to Australia in their fourth match of the Hockey 5s event in Youth Olympics. India came to their fourth match beating Bangladesh(10-0), Austria(9-1) and Kenya(7-1). Hockey 5s is a 20 minute game of 2 halves with each half of 10 minutes.

India was shocked by Australia with 2 early goals within 3 minutes. India scored their first goal in sixth minute thanks to Vivek Sagar Prasad. The first half ended 2-1 in favor of Australia.

In the second half Australia doubled their lead but soon Vivek Sagar Prasad reduced the margin. Australia took lead again and in the dying minute, Shubham Anand scored India’s third and the score ended 4-3.
