India lost the world group playoff tie against Serbia 3-0. In the Doubles event, Saketh Myneni and Rohan Bopanna went down in straight sets to Serbian pair of Nikola Milovejic and Danilo Petrovic. The Indian duo lost 6-7, 2-6, 6-7 as they fought hard in the first and third set but couldn’t win even a single set.
Yesterday India lost both its singles matches with Ramkumar Ramanathan and Prajnesh Gunneshwaran losing in straight sets to their Serbian Opponents. Tomorrow they play the reverse singles which are of no value as India lost the tie already.
