India announced their 14 member squad for the first two ODIs against Windies. Virat Kohli returns as captain after being rested for the Asia Cup 2018. Rishabh Pant is included in the team at the expense of Dinesh Karthik. Kedhar Jadhav and Hardik Pandya were left out of the team, both of them suffered injuries during Asia Cup.
With Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah missing out, Mohammed Shami has been recalled to the side which also includes of Shardul Thakur and Khaleel Ahmed. Ravindra Jadeja completes the list of spinners alongside Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. Manish Pandey also retains his spot but will find it tough to find a place in the eleven with Ambati Rayudu and Rishabh Pant fighting it out.
