India emerged as Asia Cup U-19 Champions beating Sri Lanka by 144 runs. Strong all-round performances saw the Indian U-19 champions bundle out their opponents for 160 runs after scoring 304 runs at the loss of 3 Wickets. The fifties from Yashasvi Jaiswal(85), Anuj Rawat(57), PrabhSimran Singh(65*) and Ayush Badoni(52*) helped India post a mammoth total from 50 overs. India were 191/2 when the innings entered last 10 overs. Simran Singh and Ayush Badoni added 113 runs from last 10 Overs with their fourth-wicket partnership alone adding 110 runs.
In the bowling department, Harsh Tyagi broke the Sri Lanka batting order claiming six wickets. Tyagi was well supported by Siddharth Desai who took 2 Wickets. Nishan Madushka(49), Pasindu Sooryabandara(31), Navod Paranavithana(48) were the players who fared well for Sri Lanka.
