In the first set, Thiem was able to find the break early. Then Medvedev involved a heated argument with officials over a decision on a challenge, it really cost his focus and he lost the set 6-2.

But in the second set, Medvedev was able to find break Thiem’s first serve on the match. Then both players hold their serve really well. It was a kind of similar story repeated in the third set too. Like in the second Medvedev breaks first and got the initial advantage in the third set. The set was full of long rallies. In the final stages of the set like in the second Thiem finds the break and took the set into tiebreaker once again. Initially, Medvedev made some errors, so Thiem got a real advantage in the tiebreaker.
