Hazard hat-trick takes Chelsea to the top

3 goals from Eden Hazard helps Chelsea get full points on the fifth occasion this season. Chelsea FC thrashed Cardiff City 4-1 to get level on points with Liverpool FC. But better Goal difference gave Chelsea the top spot. Cardiff started on a positive note and Sol Bamba took the team to the front in the 16th minute of the game. Chelsea kept on attacking in search of the equalizer but Cardiff custodian Neil Etheridge came to the rescue of the team.

Later Hazard turned the game with 2 goals before the close of the first half and took Chelsea to the lead at the halftime. In the second half with both teams failing to find the back of the net, the match was poised to end with the scoreline reading 2-1.

In the second half, Sarri brought Willian off the bench and he won a penalty in the 80th minute which Hazard converted completing his hat-trick Minutes later Willian also found his name in the scoresheet completing the tally 4-1.
