Chhetri brace helps Bengaluru FC blank FC Pune City

Bengaluru FC beat FC Pune City convincingly in their clash today at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium, Pune. Pune suffered a heavy defeat in front of their fans with the scoreline reading 3-0 in favor of the Bengalur Side. Sunil Chhetri scored 2 goals within 2 minutes to give Benglauru a healthy lead in the first half. In the second half, Miku helped Bengaluru increase their lead.

Chhetri scored for Bengaluru when the game was in the closing stages of the first half. The goals by Chhetri in 41st and 43rd minute gave Bengaluru the advantage when the teams left for the break. This is the sixth goal Chhetri scored against Pune City.

Pune hopes were shattered when Miku scored in the 64th minute. With this win, Bengaluru FC climbed to the top of the table while FC Pune City has got only one point from three matches.
