Koduvalli, India – The highly-anticipated Koduvalli Koyappa All India Sevens, also known as the “World Cup of Sevens,” kicks off today with a match between KRS Kozhikode and Real FC Thennala.
After a two-year hiatus, sevens football fans are thrilled to see the return of the Koyappa tournament, organized by the Lightning Arts and Sports Club Koduvalli. The matches will take place at the Koduvalli Flood Light Mini Stadium.
This year marks the 38th edition of the Koyappa All India Sevens. The previous tournament, held in 2020, was won by Mediguard Areecode, who defeated Royal Travels Kozhikode in the final.
As always, the tournament is expected to attract top sevens teams from across the country. The competition promises to be fierce as teams vie for the coveted title of Koyappa All India Sevens champion.
