With more than 20 years of coaching experience and a proven track record of success, the 49-year-old Spanish coach brings a wealth of expertise and a winning mentality to the club.
Oramas’s coaching career highlights include being awarded the Best Coach of the Year 2014 by the Las Palmas Football Federation, a testament to his exceptional skills and leadership in the field. He has a history of working with renowned clubs and players, making him an ideal choice for Gokulam Kerala FC’s ambitions to secure their third I League title this year and make a mark in the Indian Super League.
Oramas has excelled in various coaching roles throughout his career. Oramas’s contributions as Head Coach for U.D. San Fernando in Spain led the team to achieve a playoff for promotion to the third-tier of Spanish football, surpassing expectations and solidifying his reputation as one of the best coaches in that category.
Oramas’s international experience includes working as a scout and Assistant Football Director for Independiente del Valle in Ecuador, where he played a pivotal role in identifying and recruiting talented young players. He also prepared the first-team players for a successful season that culminated in winning the Sudamericana Cup 2019. Oramas’s ability to analyze opponents and provide invaluable insights has been a significant factor in his teams’ achievements.
