32nd All India Postal Football Tournament-2018 was inaugurated at Olympian Rahman stadium, Medical College Ground, Kozhikode today by Shri. Salim Haque, Member (Technology), Postal Services Board, Newdelhi.
Shri. I. M. Vijayan was the guest of honour. The function was presided over by Smt. Sharda Sampath, CPMG Kerala. Shri. Jitendra Gupta, PMG Northern Region, Sri. Sayeed Rasheed, DPS, and Sri. Manoj kumar, DPS also spoke at the function. A Special Postal cover on Olympian T Abdul Rahiman was released in the function by Shri. Salim Haque which was received by Shri. Haris Rahiman,S/o Olymbian T Abdul Rahiman. The inaugural match was played between host circle Kerala and Odisha Postal Circles. Kerala won by unanswered Five goals against Odisha.
On 30.10.2018, Tamilnadu will play with Madhyapradesh at 9.30, Karnataka will play with Delhi at 11.30 and Westbengal will play with Uttarpradesh at 3.00 pm
