Even hardcore Kerala Blasters FC wouldn’t have dreamed such a remarkable comeback by their team. Trailing 2-0 in the first half and scoring twice in the second half Blasters held on to their unbeaten run. Kerala even missed a penalty chance still came back strongly to level Jamshedpur FC 2-2 at full time.
Kerala Blasters FC was givenĀ an early shock with Tim Cahill scoring in the third minute of the game. In the first half, Kerala was poor and things were clear that Blasters were shattered by the early goal. This was the first goal of the Australian legend in the ISL.
Kerala was given another drubbing in the first half by Michael Soosairaj in the 31st minute of the game. With the first half clearly belonging to Jamshedpur FC team lead the game 2-0 at the half time. Kerala Blasters FC made two changes in the first half with Cyril Kali and Sahal coming in for Keziron Kizito and Lalruatthara.
Kerala got a Penalty in the 56th minute for a foul on Slavisla Stojanovic but his effort was saved by Subrato Paul much to the shock of Kerala fans. But Stojanovic scored a stunning goal in the 71st minute giving Blasters a small ray of hope.
With the match poised to end favoring the home team, CK Vineeth scored the second goal for Blasters in the dying minutes of the half. Blasters again got a chance to take lead but Stojanovic couldn’t convert. Kerala’s both goals were assisted by Seiminlen Doungel who came in as a substitute in the second half.
