India was shocked by Pakistan in the opening minute of the game but came back strongly to level before halftime. In the second half, India struck twice to defeat Pakistan in their second game of the Hockey Asian Champions Trophy 2018.
Irfan Jr. scored in the first minute of the game to the much shock of Indian players. India tried their level best to equalize but in the first quarter, Pakistan led the game. In the second quarter, Manpreet Singh scored for India in the 24th minute and at halftime teams went back to the dugout scoring one goal each.
In the second half, Mandeep gave India lead with a 33rd-minute goal. Dilpreet doubled the lead in the 42nd minute and gave India a convincing win.
