Women’s T20 Preview: Australia aims complete sweep

Australia will take on New Zealand in the final T20 match on October 5th in Canberra. It is expected to draw the huge crowd for the match in the capital city as the women’s team has already won the series with the stellar performance. They are leading 2-0 now. New Zealand will be up for the fight to find a consolation win in the final match of the series.
Australian women have started the home summer season with two comprehensive wins at North Sydney Oval and Brisbane winning each match by six wickets. Captain Meg Lanning is absolutely happy about the start for the season and the way the different players contributed in both games. It was Meg Lanning and Rachael Haynes brilliant performance helped them to win the first match at North Sydney Oval. Megan Schutt’s excellent bowling restricted New Zealand to a below-par score and half centuries from Alyssa Healy and Villani took them over the line in the second game.
New Zealand will have to work on a few things before the final game such as their batting at middle order and bowling to an extent. Sophie Devine and Katey Martin scored for them in the first game while Suzie Bates was the only one contributed in the second. New Zealand will expect to have a better day on the field and more contribution from the entire to register their first win.
The match is scheduled to start at 2.50 PM IST, at Manuka Oval in Canberra. The enthusiasm will be sky high as the capital city is preparing for the first international game in the summer season.
