As it was approaching lunch on Day 1 of Hyderabad Test Windies were slowly rebuilding their innings after india picked up the openers. Ravichandran Indian ended a positive stay of Kieran Powell and Kuldeep Yadav struck Kraigg Brathwaite in front of the wicket. The Windies score was 52/2 at this stage.
Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer were slowly fighting back and Windies was hoping to end Day 1 Lunch with no further wicket loss. But Umesh Yadav had other plans and he found Shai Hope plumb. As the Batsman departed after scoring 36 runs umpires called for Lunch on the first Day.
India faced a setback as debutant Shardul Thakur went back to the pavilion after an ankle Injury. He could bowl only 1.4 overs in his debut match and we have to wait for getting updates on his injury.
