In a new decision, BCCI shifted the fourth match of the India-Windies ODI series. The decision has been made to shift the match to Brabourne Stadium Mumbai from the Wankhede Stadium. The impasse between the Mumbai Cricket Association and the Board of Control for Cricket in India has led to the situation.
According to the new rule, 90% tickets should be made available to the public and rest 10% should be equally shared by BCCI and state association. This has made many state associations put on resistance demanding more complimentary passes which need to be shared with sponsors and other government agencies who facilitate help in the smooth conduct of the games.
Apart from the issue regarding the complimentary passes, Mumbai Cricket Association is facing trouble with financial dealings as there is no authorized person to sign the cheques on behalf of the association. All this has transcribed into events which led to MCA losing the ODI.
Earlier the second ODI of the series which was supposed to be held at Indore was shifted to Visakhapatnam based on similar circumstances.
