After Dale Steyn lower-order heroics, Imran Tahir joined the party with a Hat-trick and bundled out Zimbabwe for a paltry 78 runs. With 120 runs win, the hosts South Africa sealed the series. After electing to bat South Africa were saved by Dale Steyn who scored 60 runs and knitted a 75 runs 8th wicket partnership Andile Phehlukwayo.
South Africa after being restricted for 198 runs started strongly in the bowling department with Dale Steyn claiming first two wickets. Imran Tahir completed his Hatrick picking wickets of Sean Williams, Peter Moor, Brandon Mavuta. Brendan Taylor and Kyle Jarvis were the other picks by Tahir to complete his five wickets. Zimbabwe innings ended at 78 in 24 overs.
Hamilton Masakadza was the top scorer for Zimbabwe with 27 Runs. For South Africa, Steyn picked two and Lungisani Ngidi and Andile Phehlukwayo claimed a wicket apiece.
