Sri Lanka has suffered set back in their quest for Asia Cup 2018. The team which takes on Bangladesh on September 15, will be missing the services of Dinesh Chandimal. A finger injury which the player sustained during T20 League matches last week held by SLC has gone bad and needs more recovery time. Niroshan Dickwella has been named as his replacement. Dickwella was part of the standby list.
Sri Lanka will also miss the services of their spinner Akila Dananjaya for some part of the tournament. He is expecting the birth of his first child and will miss some games.
