Matthew Renshaw’s aim to get back to the Australian Test team has taken hit with the opening batsman troubled by a hamstring strain. Renshaw is with Australia A team which is touring India. Renshaw was aiming to get into the Australian team for test series against Pakistan in the UAE.
Renshaw picked up the injury in the one-day series playing against South Africa A while scoring an unbeaten 42. He missed the next two matches in the series against India B and the Final against the same opposition. It is heard that opener is trying hard to prove his fitness for Australia A in the upcoming first-class matches.
