Rohit, Dhawan makes gain in the ICC ODI Ranking

Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan made good gains in the latest ICC ODI rankings. Strong performance from the openers in the Asia Cup helped them move up. India beat Bangladesh scoring a last-ball victory in the final of Asia Cup. Rohit Sharma, who led the team in the absence of Virat Kohli reached the second rank behind Virat Kohli. Rohit earlier reached the second position in July this year.

Rohit scored 317 runs while Shikhar Dhawan was the top scorer of the tournament with 342 runs. Shikhar rose 4 slots and reached the fifth position. Against Pakistan, the duo scored a 210-run partnership in the Super Four match, where Rohit remained unbeaten at 111 and Dhawan slammed 114 runs.
