As England were slowly cruising away with the lead building and lunch approaching, Mohammed Shami pulled out a trick from the hat to trap England Opener Keaton Jennings just at the stroke of Lunch on Day 3 at Southampton. England were 92/3 when the wicket fell and the umpires decided to call for the lunch. After restarting Day 3 at 6/0 England soon lost both openers. Alastair Cook(12) and Moeen Ali(9) both fell cheap with Bumrah and Ishant picking the respective wickets.
From 33/2 soon things were looking easy for England with Joe Root and Keaton Jennings putting on a fifty runs partnership and with lunch approaching things were looking nice and calm for England. But Jennings wicket left Joe Root stranded at the other end with the lead at 65 Runs.
