England and Wales Cricket Board today released the list of players who found themselves in the central contracts for Test and white-ball cricket. For the first time, Sam Curran has been offered test Central Contract for his scintillating all-round performance in the Test series against India.
England beat India 4-1 and the left-hander played an important part both with bat and ball, helping England out of trouble in two Test matches.
With 272 runs and 11 wickets, Sam Curran was adjudged Man of the Series along with Indian Skipper Virat Kohli. 10 players were handed over with Test contracts and 13 of them won White-Ball contracts.
