BCCI on Wednesday announced that the second ODI between India and Windies will now be held at Visakhapatnam’s Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium. There has been a tussle between BCCI and MPCA between the share of the complimentary pass. The new rule says that only 10% of total tickets can be held by the home cricket association which is hosting the match.
The total number of seats in Indore is 27000 and 10% of it comes to a mere 2700 seats and BCCI also demanded a huge number of these complimentary passes which made the MPCA come out in open opposing the move. The match was originally scheduled to be held at Indore’s Holkar Cricket stadium.
The second game of the series will be held on 24th October 2018.
