Patna Pirates were behind in the points when the first half was about to end, but they made a grand comeback and took a very slight one-point lead to go back the dugout at the halftime. In the second half, they held on to the lead and won the match against UP Yoddha with a slight 2 point margin. At the final whistle, the scores read 43-41 in favor of Patna Pirates.
Pardeep Narwal stole the show with 16 points and he got good support from Deepak Narwal (7 pts) and Jawahar(5 pts). For UP Yoddha it was Shrikant Jadhav doing the bulk of the scoring with Rishank Devadiga(8) and Prashanth Kumar Rai(6) providing good support in attack.
In the attacking front UP had a slight edge with a 27-26 lead, whereas Patna was superior in the Tackle points(11-7). Both teams were all out twice in the game.
