Bangladesh Players Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Mithun were denied NOC for their participation in the Afghanistan Premier League. The Bangladesh Cricket Board decided that they have national commitments and it is better not to send the players for the T20 League as they are expected to be considered for the home series against Zimbabwe and Windies.
Both these players were picked up by Kandahar Knights in the players draft. Another Player picked was Taskin Ahmed who was given NOC by the Board. Taskin is coming after a long injury period and the board felt that it will be good for the player to take part so they can assess his conditions.
