D’Arcy Short scored a whirlwind 257 runs from 148 balls helping Western Australia pose a huge total of 387 runs against Queensland in JLT One-Day Cup. Having scored most of his runs in boundaries Short hit 15 boundaries and 23 sixes.
Two partnerships in the top order were the only positives for Queensland as they collapsed from 238/2 to 271 all out in 43 Overs. Western Australia consolidated their top spot in the points table with a massive 116 run victory. Andrew Tye took 6 wickets whereas Jason Behrendorff took 3.
Sam Haezlett(107), Chris Lynn(58) were the batsmen who showed resistance and found some runs for the Queensland.
