FIFA Suspends Pakistan Football Federation Again

FIFA has once again suspended the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) due to its failure to adopt a revised constitution ensuring fair elections. The suspension will remain in place until the PFF Congress approves the version proposed by FIFA and the AFC.

This marks the third suspension of the PFF since 2017, primarily due to political interference from the Pakistani government. Despite being in charge for four years, the Normalization Committee failed to meet FIFA’s constitutional requirements, raising concerns over the future of football in Pakistan. The repeated suspensions highlight the government’s preference for cricket over other sports, leaving Pakistani footballers and fans frustrated.
