Kochi, March 16, 2021: With the verdict being announced by All India Football Federation (AIFF) player status committee regarding the dispute of Nongdamba Naorem’s transfer to ATKMB, it is proven that the player transfer was valid pertaining to all the terms and conditions. The player transferred by KBFC was completely fit to play at the time of transfer to ATKMB.
Kerala Blasters FC has always moved in the appropriate direction regarding their system, team members, and management both on and off the field, hence the verdict being justified. Undoubtedly, the statement discloses and proves that the club had transferred with all the criteria being fulfilled. Kerala Blasters FC strictly follows all the protocols, rules, and regulations of AIFF and FIFA in regards to their players.
The verdict had come upon post the transfer of Nongdamba Naorem, in which ATKMB mentioned that the player transfer was void as the player was injured and KBFC should indemnify the losses ATKMB suffered. The dispute occurred on 28thDecember, 2020 mentioning that Kerala Blasters FC was misrepresented and informed that the club had unethically moved their player to ATKMB. While the verdict proves as a testimony to the fact that the club would never take or practice any unethical step that effects anyone including other club members as well.
