If Azarenka wins this year’s US Open she will be included in the rare list of players who won a Grandslam after giving birth to a baby. Victoria Azarenka entered the US Open final after long years, yes it’s true.
Victoria Azarenka will face 2018 US Open champion and fourth seed Naomi Osaka in the final. Osaka overcomes 28th seed American Jennifer Brady in the semifinal. The match lasted 3 sets. In the final set, Osaka breaks for the first time in the match. Then she really challenges Brady’s serves and finds more break points but Brady saved them. Osaka served really well and takes the set 6-3 and entered to final once again.
This is her third final in the last three years, the previous both occasions Osaka takes the title to the home. She will be planning to do the same against the great Victoria Azarenka this time around too. When both players met in the Cincinnati Open before the US Open, it was Azarenka who wins the title after Osaka pulled off with an injury. Both players are in really great shape and form, both refusing to give up, so it is experience vs youth in action, it will be a cracker of a final for sure.
