The official jersey launch ceremony along with the squad announcement of Kerala Blasters FC was held today at the Lulu Mall, Kochi. The Managing Directors from Reyaur Sports, Mr. Bhagesh Kotak and Mrs. Yasmin Kotak revealed the exclusive fan jersey to the public. The vibrant yellow jersey, that has been specially designed for the fans will carry the tagline of the club “Yennum Yellow”.
Muthoot Pappachan Group, continue to be the title sponsors of the club, consecutively for the sixth time in a row. Sandeep Vellarikkat, Head-Product and Risk represented the Muthoot Pappachan Group during the event. JAIN (Deemed to be university) Kochi, Skyfoam mattresses and Asian Paints are the other sponsors of KBFC this year. Sandeep Vellarikkat, Head-Product and Risk from the Muthoot Pappachan Group, Dr. Shaji Thomas, Campus Director of JAIN (Deemed to be university) Kochi, Sunil Kumar Kartha-General Manager of Skyfoam, and Mr. Rupesh S Nair-Regional Manager, Asian paints along with Nikhil Bharadwaj, Owner of Kerala Blasters FC and Viren D’Silva, CEO of Kerala Blasters FC unveiled the new jersey for the ISL Season 6.
The 25-member squad consisting of 3 Goal Keepers, 10 Midfielders, 8 Defenders and 4 Forwards were introduced to the public during the official function. Sandesh Jhingan, Sahal Abdul Samad, Mohammed Rafi , Bartholomew Ogbeche and Mario Arques gave away a few fan jerseys to the lucky supporters in the crowd.
