Kohli scored his 38th ODI ton and third from the series but couldn’t take India to a victory as the home team fell short by 43 runs chasing a total of 283 scored by Windies. India was all out for 240 in 47.4 over with Marlon Samuels picking up three wickets including the coveted wicket of Virat Kohli. Kohli got out at his personal score of 107 and it was all just formalities for Windies.
Ashley Nurse was adjudged Player of the Match for his quickfire 40 from 22 balls and picking 2 wickets. Jason Holder, Obed McCoy were other prominent wicket-takers for Windies with each of them picking 2 wickets each.
Earlier Windies was helped by Shai Hope(95) in the top order and a fighting spirit displayed by Ashley nurse and Kemar Roach(15) for the 9th wicket. The duo added 56 runs for the 9th wicket and that has emerged as a crucial partnership in this victory. India and Windies are level at 1-1 in the series with the second game ending in a tie. Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets for India.
