AS Roma CEO Umberto Gandini, who has previously worked with Milan for 23 years has left the club by mutual agreement. Gandini previously worked with the AC Milan, but left in 2016 after the ill-fated takeover by Yonghong Li.
“AS Roma and Umberto Gandini can confirm that the two parties have reached a mutual agreement to bring an early end to their professional relationship,” read a statement.
“The club would like to thank Mr Gandini for his hard work and the results achieved during his time as the club’s chief executive, and hope he finds a new challenge as soon as possible.”
President James Pallotta also made a comment to the official club website.
“I want to thank Umberto for the dedication and professionalism he has shown over his time at the club and I wish him the best for his future endeavours.”
