Puneri Paltan came back from their setback yesterday to take a win in a low scoring encounter. In a match where both teams could take only 9 points each in the raiding department the match was won by Puneri Paltan, defeating Jaipur Pink Panthers 29-25. At halftime, Paltan was leading 13-12.
Deepak Hooda fought the lone battle for Jaipur but couldn’t take the team home. Paltan had an 18-14 lead in tackle department which ensured the team full points from the match. Jaipur Pink Panthers were good enough to make Puneri Paltan allout but that wasn’t enough to reduce the 4 point deficit.
Monu(7) and Ravi Kumar(6) were the main scorers for Pune. Whereas Deepak Hooda scored eight points for Pink Panthers.
