Thahir’s lone goal helps Gokulam defeat SAI in the U-18 opener

Kochi, December 15: Former India U-17 camper Abu Thahir’s 28 th minute strike helped Gokulam Kerala FC defeat SAI Thiruvananthapuram in the U-18 Hero Youth League Rest of India Kerala group match played here on Saturday.
Thahir converted his first chance on goal that came after a corner. Thahir volleyed a wonderful assist by Delan Denny to the top corner of the net to give an early lead for the Malabarians.
After the goal, Gokulam had several chances on goal but was not able to covert those.
Gokulam play MSP Academy in their next match on December 19.
